All right you didn't hear it here. I give you permission to say you heard it from Dr. Oz on Oprah...that's where I heard it. Dr. Oz, I love that man, well actually I love my husband. Dr. Oz always has the secrets to a healthier life, whether he's showing what your insides look like, oh you don't want to talk about that on Valentine's Day? Ooh, I know what you want to talk about on Valentine's Day.

Okay then, Dr. Oz says if you have sex about three times a week you can add about two to three more years on your life. Hmmm. He's a cardiothoracic surgeon; he must know what he is talking about. What do you think it would take to make that number go up? I mean if I have some time and I want to LIVE LONGER.

People, people, commit, fall in love, get married or get a long term relationship...it's good for your health not to be single and alone...well of course, unless you are truly happy single and alone. I hate to tell you that your doctor is probably not going to tell you this, even if it is scientific fact that you will live longer. Don't marry the first person you see...Oh I'm sorry, I don't offer that kind of advice. There must be another hub to give you that advice. This hub is the love hub.

Sex is a very important part of our health; maybe not talked about enough as a critical element in our health care. Being loved is healthy and communicating love in the most natural and oldest method on earth is... healthy. We need to do it for our well-being and our significant other's well-being. Yes, I want to grow old and ride off into the sunset with by loving husband, don't you? Well... you'll need to find your own husband.

Sex is the great communicator of love. There isn't a better way to get closer to the one you love than to have sex. You celebrate with it, and grieve with it. It can spark memories of your past together like nothing else. It can reflect hope for a future together.

And sometimes it expands, bringing forth little treasures of your love. I know this works as we have three of these love treasures who will be celebrating Valentine's Day with us. And we all want to wish you a Happy Valentine's Day filled with love, hope and if you're lucky...sex.

I really do not like Dr. Oz at all. As a woman, I am very offended by his comments, published today on AOL health. He gives advice to men, suggesting that they take a yoga class. He says " if being surrounded by beautiful women wearing spandex is not reason enough to join a class, then consider...". I now feel very self conscious about joining a yoga class because I don't want to watched by some idiot like Dr. Oz with such perverted mind. We are women, not objects to attract men into getting healthy. We need to exercise too, and I shouldn't feel exposed or sexualized by other members.

Then, he went on to say that a man in his 50's should have sex at least 700 times a year, and that would gain him many extra years of life, so next time the wife says she has a headace, "tell her she's literally killing you. It works for me." What a scum! And I really would hate to be married to a cold bastard like him. I feel sorry for his wife. To him, she's just another supplement to make him live longer. I hope he dies of a car crash severe injuries, or something that had no way of being prevented by using his wife. He will be like Dr. Atkins, getting fame and fortune by selling a miracle weight loss plan, guaranteed to work and make you healthy and live longer, and he died of heart desease.

I agree with the previous post and I'd also like to add that I think Dr Oz is pure BS. He would never undergo Chemo if he had cancer yet he promotes Chemo. He also owns 150,000 shares of common Stock with some publicly traded company in the Vaccine industry. He's a "front man" for Big Pharma companies/Vaccine pushers. Notice how he doesn't say the word "vaccine" ... he says "immunized". Immunized has a positive glow to it. I hate how the women on his show go gaga over him and worship him ... "oh, oh, Dr Oz" ... he just eats it up while his wife probably looks on in disgust. The women that worship him and hold onto his every word typically have low IQ's or they are on drugs, one or the other ... or both.

As far as Dr Atkins, I'd also like to add that he also died of the stress he inflicted upon himself, on his heart, trying to lose weight. We were not meant to exercise strenuously, running/jogging excessively or breaking out in a sweat, but most people either do not know this OR do not believe it. As soon as we feel like we can't do another push-up or run another inch, it's our bodies/minds signaling for us to stop. It's the same with food. As soon as we feel full, it's our bodies and minds are telling us to stop eating.

The Dr Oz show is for hypochondriacs, shut-ins and senior citizens with nothing else to do.

Wow, out of the loop for a while to come back to a few disturbing comments. I have no problem notifying people of Dr. Oz's relationship with the pharmaceutical industry if that is the case.

But to be down right insulting is offensive. Really ladies, more doctors than Dr. Oz have stated the facts about having a healthy sexual relationship with your spouse/partner. Now I do have better things to do and have never seen the Dr. Oz show. I've seen him a few times on Oprah when he had some very informative discussions about health.

He is educated and can teach the public about a great number of things, a few of which are the same things regurgitated to the American public over and over again since when I was a child in school.

I'm no Dr Oz worshipper, shut in or hypochondriac. If you don't know about something or someone than feel free to keep your opinions to yourself or stand accused of being ignorant yourself.

No, he is not truly educated. He is trained. He abuses the victims of common, bad drug prescribing by claiming that the victims are just addicts. Really? People who have no interest in taking the drugs that harmed them are addicts? Could he be engaging in projection?

Phil DeGlass 21 months ago

Juliana must be in the process of getting her bachelor's in psychology. No, Dr. Oz isn't engaging in projection - people who get prescribed certain drugs get addicted whether or not they had interest in taking them. Addiction doesn't require an interest, it requires taking the drugs and the drugs altering your brain chemistry.

lol@ budding psychologists

Oh and btw... training in medicine is education lmao

I'm sorry, the article wasn't about drugs.

Oh and thanks Dr. Phil...sorry couldn't resist. I was afraid to visit but I'm getting a good laugh too.

I detest Dr. Oz for all the reasons mentioned above; however, I must clear up the Dr. Atkins post. Dr. Atkins died when he slipped on an ice covered sidewalk in NY and hit his head on the concrete. Dr. Atkins did not die of heart disease, but from a severe blow to the head.

I hate the Dr. Oz. show. I find him extremely irritating and way too interested in POOP! His advice skims over issues and not in any way helpful. What is with all those women who gush over him? Gross!

I agree, dr oz is a wannabe new aged doctor tht has no training in naturopathic medicine, alternative health. he is not intelliginet, notice how he doesn't talk about medicine a lot but he uses the niche that has america in a frezy right now with alternative medicine.

He annoys me. I wish he could drop dead things with his fakeness . And his annoying voice and he is so ugly. oprah once again does it..take a not so famous not very educated individual and give them a show.

Dr oz needs to stick to his medicine (MD) and not go around the globe looking for natural cures.

go back to the pharmacy oz you traitor

Dr. Oz is one of the top cardiac surgeons in the world, and wants to educate his tv audience to live more healthy. What's wrong with you women???
